Your data, explained.
Last updated 5 November 2026. Polaris is made by RISE LLC, California.
What Polaris stores
- Your name, email and profile photo from your Google account, used to sign you in.
- What you log: workouts, food, body measurements, aches and your training plan.
- Basic usage information: when you sign up, which days you open the app, which link brought you to Polaris and the app version.
- Usage analytics: which features you use, such as finishing a workout or opening Coach, with a few simple counts. These never include your weights, food, pain, notes or Coach chats.
How we use your data
We use your data only to run Polaris for you and to understand how people find and use it, looking at patterns across users. We never sell your data or show ads.
Usage analytics
We store usage analytics with Supabase alongside your account. Our server sends a copy of feature-use events to Mixpanel, without any health details. Mixpanel processes these events for us to chart how the app is used. It gets a random account ID, never your name or email. Raw usage events are kept for 13 months. You can turn usage analytics off any time in the app: open Plan, then Privacy → Share usage analytics.
When you use Coach
When you use Coach, the relevant parts of your log are sent to Google's Gemini API to write the reply.
Where your data is stored
Your data is stored with Supabase, and only your signed-in account can read it.
How to delete your data
In the app, add #account to the address and tap Delete my account and data. Everything is removed right away, including usage analytics stored with us. The copy at Mixpanel carries only a random account ID. Ask us to delete that copy and we’ll remove it within 30 days.
